Privacy Policy

The Association for the Advancement of Aviation Workers in Israel (R.A.), registration no. 580647493 ("the Association", "we"), respects the privacy of users of its website and digital membership system ("the Site"). This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.

What data we collect

When registering for membership or using the personal account area, we collect, among other things: first name and last name, email address, role and airline, and the content of any messages or requests sent through the system. When signing in with Google, the basic identification details provided by Google (name and email address) are stored.

• Managing Association membership and communicating with members
• Providing access to the personal account area and relevant member information
• Updates regarding Association activities, including the class action against El Al
• Improving the Site and our services

Data sharing and processing providers

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. To operate the Site and its digital services, we use infrastructure and technology providers, including Supabase, Netlify, Resend and Anthropic. Personal information and documents submitted or uploaded by a user may be processed through these providers solely to provide, secure, operate and improve the relevant service.

When a specific service includes file upload or AI-assisted processing, an appropriate notice is presented before the action. Information or documents are not shared with the Association team for human handling unless there is an appropriate need and authorization.

Data security

Access to information is restricted through authorization mechanisms and additional access controls. Sensitive files are kept in private, non-public storage. When a file is needed only for temporary processing and there is no operational reason to retain it, it is automatically deleted according to the policy of the relevant service.

Your rights and deletion

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about you, subject to applicable law and any legal retention obligations. Information retained in the system and removed through the administration interface is first transferred to the deletion archive, from which it can be restored; irreversible deletion is available only from that archive and under the appropriate permissions.

Temporary files that are used only for processing and are not intended to be retained may be automatically deleted when processing is complete without first being placed in the deletion archive.

Cookies

The Site may use technical cookies and local or session browser storage for sign-in, acquisition attribution and basic usage measurement. To measure the effectiveness of news and campaigns, we store limited events such as landing, story view, join click and completed registration together with UTM parameters when present. These analytics events do not store an IP address, User-Agent, name, email address or free-text content.
